You can initiate the onboarding process by submitting a partner certificate request.
Once we get your request, we'll reach out to your business to complete the review process for onboarding as a partner. This would require verifying and assessing the fit of your business to serve as a Certisfy trust anchor partner.
If you are approved as a partner, a partner account will be created for you if you haven't already created an account. If you have created an account, we'll update it to partnership status.
Certisfy is a service of Cipheredtrust Inc. You'll be accessing your partner account from the Cipheredtrust website. Anyone can sign-up for a Cipheredtrust account, partner accounts are required to provide additional information.

Below are the additional steps required for partners to complete after creating a basic Cipheredtrust account.
This is basic business information required for processing payouts to your business and for tax reporting.
This would contain mostly the information you provided when you submitted your request to initiate onboarding. It will be verified and would be reused in the future to renew your partnership.
This would be a bank account or debit card information for where Cipheredtrust would send payouts for payments processed through Certisfy when you issue certificates.
This information is never stored and will be immediately forwarded to our payment service provider (Stripe) to process. When Stripe approves this information, you'll receive your payouts as periodic auto-deposits to this account.
Payout account information can be submitted under billing settings in the account portal.
All certificates either directly issued to your business as a trust anchor or ones that you subsequently delegate to employees will need to be registered in your account.
This is how Certisfy recognizes that you're the one issuing a particular certificate and credits your account for the payments.
All profile information can be provided in the account objects section on the account portal.
Once you have completed the onboarding process, you can start serving Certisfy users and charging for your information verification service.
Partners use the Certisfy app just like any regular user to issue certificates. The difference is that the certificate[s] that a partner uses to issue consumer certificates is a trustworthy certificate issued by Certisfy.
The Cipheredtrust portal provides the ability for trust anchors to process certificate issuance transactions via the Certisfy app.
By default Cipheredtrust will take a 15% share of revenue generated from issuing certificates and processing those transactions via the Certisfy app.
The revenue split can change at anytime in either direction at the sole discretion of Cipheredtrust.
Cipheredtrust doesn't specify what the fee should be for performing verification services, this is left at the discretion of the partner and the partner is expected to price approriately.
Cipheredtrust expects partners to be trustworthy, after all they are trust anchors. This means while a partner is free to charge as they see fit, partners are trusted to process the full transaction through the Certisfy application so appropriate revenue credit sharing is done, unless a separate agreement exists between Cipheredtrust and a given trust anchor.
Partners who circumvent this expectation risk severing of the relationship.
The word trust in trust anchor is not to be taken lightly. Our partners are obligated and expected to perform fair minded and good faith information verification.
Expectations regarding partner integrity are all encompassing.
Partners are expected to treat the privacy of their customers with utmost importance and care. Compromising the privacy of a customer by divulging certificate issuance information to third parties is not only a violation of the Certisfy terms and expectations, it could also have legal and criminal implications.
We expect our partners to take this obligation seriously. Behaviour contrary to this expectation would jeopardize the relationship.
Below you'll find our partner guidelines, please read it. The guidelines will continue to expand
as necessary.
